Our Time Has Come To An End

Writer: Marie BarnasMarie Barnas

It has been such a great experience to bring the film and this message to the general public. As with all things, we have neared the end of our journey but we are (thankfully!) going out on a high note! This month, we were distributed by American Public Television nationwide and the film is streaming on PBS across the U.S. as a top billed News and Current Events program. We are billed on the PBS national page with huge shows and current poitical events, and we are HONORED that our film is being recognized as such a topic of importance for the general public. Even better, PBS stations nationwide will be including the film in their local programming. We were picked up by 295 out of 342 markets which is 95% of PBS local stations, so we are availble to view on air in every state in the nation. We are thrilled with this result and so happy to have partnered with PBS as the vehicle for our message.

That being said, our time here has come to an end. We feel we have reached the pinnacle of what we can do with this project. This will be our last blog post and we will discontinue access to our blog March 15. We will keep the website updated and add to our Vimeo page with extras and other content that did not make it into the film. We may also be approved for some other streaming territories on Amazon Prime if those channels open up at a later date.

Thank you to all who have followed us and have supported us. We are but a few people who wanted to raise awareness about this topic. We had many challenges along the way but we persevered and it paid off. We hope this film will continue to shed light on this topic for years to come. As Dr. Andy Roarke says in the end of the film, the work that we do is challenging because it matters. And with that we will say goodbye for now and THANK YOU for this experience!!
