SYNOPSIS
Veterinarians suffer from one of the highest suicide rates in the United States. On average, a vet dies by suicide approximately every 12 weeks. The emotional demands of euthanasia, poor work-life balance, ceaseless internal drive for perfection, and disgruntled pet owners who bully and vilify them create compassion fatigue, burnout and depression among those most dedicated to caring for our beloved pets. This film delves into those issues and exposes this problem in the pet med industry today.
