About the event

Please join Director Marie Barnas, Producers Frank Barnas and Cacey Frazier, and Dr. Noel Lucas of Blue Oasis Pet Hospital to present a free screening of The Cost of Caring in recognition of International Day of Veterinary Medicine. Highlighting the prevalence of suicide in the vet med space, the film features interviews from academics and veterinary professionals to better understand why veterinarians and vet staff are three to five times more likely than the general population to die by suicide and delves into the factors that can make veterinary work intense for all parties involved. 


This free screening is presented by Blue Oasis Pet Hospital of Mount Juliet and tickets are limited and first come first serve until sold out.


Paper ticket must be presented at time of entry or access may be denied.
